St Patrick’s Day is one holiday that you can enjoy around the world. As such, you need not travel far to experience the green, imbibe in drink or just watch a parade filled with shamrocks, floats, and pipers enjoying a uniquely Irish celebration. Though most people enjoy at least some of the festivities on St. Patrick’s day, the truest way to experience St Patrick’s day would be with a trip to where it all began in Ireland. Tradewinds Travel Club Looks At Top Celebration In Ireland For St Patrick’s Day

Welcome to the St Patrick’s day festival. Taking place from March 16th through March 20th 2011, this festival is one of the most well known and well attended in the world. Begun in 1995 by the government of Ireland, the aim of the festival is to celebrate this most Irish of holidays and honor the country of it’s origin. As a holiday that is celebrated in more countries around the world than any other, this is one day of the year that everyone seems to want to be Irish. In honor of this day, the St Patrick’s day festival offers visitors and residents the opportunity to experience all things Irish including comedy, film, culture and music as well as family fun.
